This privacy notice outlines the personal information IDI may collect through the web-site www.idiproject.com and how IDI will process such information.

Data Collection

IDI may collect your personal data while you visit the website, create your personal account, subscribe to IDI newsletter or become a member. Such personal data may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card and/or bank details.

Information Use

The data collected by IDI will be processed in order to provide you with our services (subscription, access to non private section, provision of the requested information and documents, sending of our newsletter or other information on IDI services and initiatives).
Without having access to your personal data we may be unable to provide you with the services you have requested. The provision of IDI services that you have requested is the legal basis of the processing.

Your data will be stored as long as IDI provides you with its services or until you request us to cancel them.

Disclosure of Information

IDI may disclose your personal data only to its personnel (employees and administrative staff) and to the members of the Board of the association and the company and all its committees, also outside the EU, for internal purposes. Your personal data may also be disclosed to third parties, such as financial institution, fiscal consultants, government entities and regulatory bodies and those with whom you have requested us to share information. In such a case IDI requires third parties who perform services for it to agree to treat your personal data confidentially and securely.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this privacy policy, we reserve the right to disclose and use your personal data if we believe that we are required to do so: (a) by law; (b) in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order (c) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of IDI.

Furthermore, if you register for the IDI Annual Conference, your data (name, surname, company and country) will be disclosed to the other participants.

Your rights

You are entitled to the right to access, rectification, cancellation of your personal data or to the right to limit the processing or object to the processing of your personal data, or to ask for a copy of your personal data to be provided to you and/or to a third party in digital format; you may exercise your rights by writing to IDI sending an email to privacy@idiproject.com; you also have the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data with the local data protection authority.

When you receive newsletter or emails promoting our services from IDI you have the right to unsubscribe at any time. You can do that by following the unsubscribe link in the email, or by contacting us at: privacy@idiproject.com. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you our newsletter and promotional communications.

Information Security

IDI maintains reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Our personnel is provided access to your personal data only if they have a need to know the information in connection with a legitimate business purpose, such as (a) the management of your subscription; (b) provision of information services to you (e.g. newsletter).
