Long forms contain detailed provisions, comments and explanations. These are especially intended to be used as a helpful tool for the drafting of tailor-made contracts.
Short forms contain only the main clauses. These are directed to those who are looking for an easy-to- use tool.
Each type of contract is drafted in three different versions: one on the side of the agent/distributor; one on the side of the principal/supplier, while the third tries to strike a reasonable balance between the two.
The balanced short forms are also translated by the IDI country experts in more than 24 commonly used languages such us Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Greek, etc.. with the English text in front.
